Transcripts will be evaluated after the student has been admitted to the college.
Transfer credit will be evaluated and recorded only upon receipt of all official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. A review of records by advisors, faculty, or other staff for advising purposes does not constitute an official evaluation.
Only official transcripts from each college will be evaluated for transfer credit. Student copies will not be utilized for evaluation of official transfer credit. Credit will not be evaluated for transfer credit that appears on another college’s transcripts.
A transfer grade of “D” may transfer if the cumulative GPA is 2.0 or above at the time of admission.
Students should consult their academic or program advisor regarding the applicability of a grade of “D” toward degree requirements. Acceptance of a grade of “D” as transfer credit varies by program of study and course requirements. Some programs and courses require a minimum grade of “C”; therefore, a grade of “D” will not satisfy those requirements.
All major required courses require a grade of “C” or higher for successful course completion.
No graduate-level or pass/fail courses may transfer.
Courses taken under a quarter or trimester system will be evaluated and adjusted to the semester system.
