Transfer Students

1. A student who has previously attended another college or post-secondary institution prior to enrolling at Wallace State is considered a transfer student.

2. Transfer students on academic or disciplinary suspension from another college or university must submit a written request to the College Admissions Committee for admission.

3. Students with less than an associate degree must submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and either a High School transcript with graduation date or completion of GED.

4. Students with an associate degree or higher are not required to submit a high school transcript; however, they must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended for evaluation.

5. Official high school and college transcripts must be received in the Office of Admissions and Records before the student is awarded financial aid.

6. Students seeking admission to programs that have a separate admissions process should consult the program advisor regarding transcript requirements.

*Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree need only submit an official transcript from the degree-granting institution to satisfy admission requirements. However, official transcripts from previously attended institutions may be required for the evaluation of transfer credits and to determine financial aid eligibility.
