Entering freshmen are required to enroll in a Freshman Seminar course designed to promote their success in college. The course ensures that students develop a comprehensive education plan leading to employment that provides a living wage or successful transfer to a four-year institution and connects them with resources that support academic success and program completion. Students are exempt from Freshman Seminar if 19 or more hours are successfully transferred from a previous college. All students, regardless of division, are expected to register for ORI 110 during their first semester on campus.
