OTA 214 : Treatment Planning and Implementation: Part I Lab - Pediatrics

This course is the lab component of OTA 213. It will provide the opportunity to develop patient observation and interaction skills, administer selected assessments using appropriate procedures and protocols. Students will incorporate theoretical concepts required to select and provide direct occupational therapy interventions for clients ranging from pediatric-young adult. Upon completion students will demonstrate skills in observation and interviews of patients and families, collect pertinent data, administer relative assessments, and design/implement individualized treatment plans for the pediatric-young adult clients.
