The Wallace State Library provides internet access through computers on the 2nd floor. These computers give students access to information on the World Wide Web, various library-owned databases, and the Alabama Virtual Library. The Library offers individual study and testing rooms with Honorlock capabilities and environmental-scanning cameras.

WSCC DATABASES

The Wallace State Community College Library provides access to more than 100 online databases that can be used remotely. These databases are carefully selected to support all courses of study offered at Wallace State and cover a wide range of academic, applied technologies, health science, adult education, STEM-focused careers, workforce certification, and career-focused subjects.

Students and faculty can find scholarly journal articles, eBooks, reference materials, and streaming video resources in areas such as nursing and allied health, business, computer science and information technology, engineering technologies, education, social sciences, and the humanities. Specialized databases support research in anatomy and physiology, psychology, economics, history, and literature, as well as workforce and technical programs.

In addition to subject-based research, the databases offer valuable services, including test-preparation resources, streaming educational videos, newspapers and magazines, citation and research tools, and career- and skill-building content.
