This course provides training in more advanced aspects of polysomnographic technology. Students become familiar with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain and evaluate high quality sleep recordings. It covers all the aspects of sleep scoring and event recognition, recording and monitoring techniques, documentation, professional issues, therapeutic interventions, and patient-technologist interactions related to polysomnographic technology.
